This non-partisan Committee focuses on educating
citizens about concerns in the neighborhood in order to stimulate voter
interest and increase voter turnout on Election Day.
To this end, Candidate's Nights will be held concerning the City elections, featuring debate and discussion among elected officials, candidates for office and residents from the neighborhood. Issues include commercial development, community safety, the environment, city and state finances, trash and more. It is hoped that the Committee will work, from time to time, in conjunction with the Hillside, Willow/Plaza and other neighborhood groups to generate interest in issues of concern to all residents.
